Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Postpilot (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or brand, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Service.

Postpilot helps creators and brands plan, draft, review, and publish content to your social account. You can upload videos, build photo carousels, generate still images from templates, use AI assistance for captions and hashtags, route posts through an approval step, and publish immediately or on a schedule to the social account you connect.

Features may change, be added, or be removed over time as the Service evolves.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Publishing requires you to connect a social account through the platform's official authorization flow. By connecting, you authorize Postpilot to create and publish content on your behalf using the platform's content posting API, within the permissions you grant.

Your use of any connected social platform remains subject to the platform's own terms of service and community Guidelines. You are responsible for making sure everything you publish complies with them. You can disconnect your social account at any time from Settings, which stops Postpilot from publishing further content to that account.

Postpilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the social platforms it connects to.

You keep ownership of the media, copy, and brand materials you upload or create in the Service. You grant us a limited license to store, process, transform, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service for you — for example generating previews, rendering still images, and delivering posts to your social account.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including images, video, music, logos, player likenesses, and card photography, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

The Service uses AI to suggest captions, hashtags, topics, and imagery. AI output can be inaccurate, generic, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before it is approved and published. The human approval step exists for this reason and should not be bypassed.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or infringing content.
• Impersonate a person, brand, or organization you do not represent.
• Spam, engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior, or artificially inflate engagement.
• Circumvent a platform's policies, rate limits, or platform protections.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, including violations that put our API access at risk.

The Service depends on third-party platforms, including social platforms and AI providers. Scheduled publishing can be delayed or fail because of outages, API changes, rate limits, revoked authorizations, or content rejections outside our control. We do not guarantee that any specific post will publish at a specific time.

You may stop using the Service and disconnect your social account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost followers, lost reach, or lost revenue arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these terms as the Service changes. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
